Ammar Ali

Without further ado, let’s begin the exciting stuff.

1. Please tell us about yourself.

Thanks for having me here, Aqib.

I’m Ammar from allbloggingtips.com. A blogger, WordPress addict, and front-end developer. I’m an undergraduate student aiming for Bachelors in Computer Sciences. You can find more about me here.

2. What was your motivation behind starting a blog? Share your story and inspirations.

I got online back in 2010 and everything seems completely different. I always wanted to have my own website where I could post anything I want and at the same time I also had passion to play around with CSS and HTML to build attractive websites.

I learned a lot during that time period so I decided to start my own professional blog where I would share the stuff I learned so that I can be of help to improve others blog. This is how I started AllBloggingTips.
Now this blog is dedicated to help new bloggers in starting a blog and making a difference over the blogosphere.

3. Can you name a few bloggers or blogs who inspired you the most?

There is no one who inspired me to jump into blogging and start a blog. It was something that I always wanted to do. I wanted to share my learning experiences. I’m so happy that I started it as earlier as I could.

4. Apart from hard work and dedication, what do you think contributed most towards the success of this blog?

Patience and consistency is the key that leads towards success.

Blogging isn’t something that will make anyone from zero to hero within few days or weeks. It is consistent effort to produce something that your readers will actually enjoy.

5. You managed to establish an online property worth $100,000 in just 12 months. How does that feel?

It feels great! Who doesn’t want to achieve that?

When I started I didn’t imagine that my blog would become so popular within short time. But hardwork actually pays off.

6. You must have faced some challenges and it would have been a tough ride. Is there one you would like to mention here?

The challenges aren’t so much to cover.

It was definitely easier when I started 5 years ago. Back then there wasn’t enough competition as it is today.

The real challenge I’ve seen over the past couple of years is finding the right target audience, keeping them engaged and coming up with epic content.

Another one is improving my English. The Spelling and grammar mistakes lead to great conversations in my comments area 😉

7. Most of the newbies in blogging would ignore the importance of keyword research. Do you think it is something important to consider?

That’s right. When I started, in the initial days, I had no idea about that. If you’re just starting out with a new blog then I’d suggest not to worry too much about SEO at this time.

SEO takes time so if anyone is interested in building an audience quickly, the best way is to find influencers in your niche, reach out to them, share their content, link out to them, create an expert roundups and within no time you’ll see the results.

One more thing, social media will give you quick results so focus on that one too.

8. How do you currently monetize your blog traffic?

Good question!

I don’t use AdSense because I consider it very limited. I have already discussed this in detail here.
I monetize my traffic with affiliate marketing, sponsored posts and banner advertising. Along with that I also work with web design clients.

9. What is your best advice for bloggers who want to make an entry to this business?

The best time to do anything is now! People regret for not doing anything earlier. If you’re thinking to do something, do it now.

Before jumping into this, make sure that you’ve a clear plan about what you want to do in this business. You’ve to bring something unique and epic to make yourself stand out from the crowd.

10. You have inspired many young minds. What is the best way to connect with you?

The best way to connect is definitely my blog. I look forward to see you there!

I’m also available on twitter and facebook.

Thank you Ammar for taking the time to answer all my questions. You are a true inspiration for our youngsters. We wish you prosperity and success in your personal and professional life.
